Manor System Guide in Lineage 2: How to Earn from Seeds

Complete guide to the Manor System in Lineage 2. How to use seeds, where to sell crops and how much you can earn.

February 15, 2026

The Manor System is one of the most underrated economic mechanics in Lineage 2. Most players ignore it entirely, which is a mistake: with the right approach Manor provides steady income without active grinding. Here is how it works.

What Is the Manor System

The Manor System is tied to castles. The clan owning a castle manages the Manor — a system of planting seeds and harvesting crops. Regular players can buy Seeds from the castle's steward, plant them on mobs, and turn in the harvest for adena or special resources.

How It Works: Step by Step

  1. 1Buy Seeds from the Castle Steward NPC of your chosen castle.
  2. 2Find the mobs that match those Seeds (listed in the seed description).
  3. 3Use Seeds on mobs during combat — there is a chance a Crop will grow.
  4. 4Collect the Crop from the killed mob with /sweeper or by clicking it.
  5. 5Turn in the Crop at the Castle Steward or Seed Trader NPC for adena or resources.

Seeds only work on specific mobs — not every mob in the game. Always check the seed description before buying.

Seed Types and Their Profitability

Each castle offers its own unique Seeds for specific zones. Here is a rough overview:

CastleSeeds for ZonesBest CropIncome/hr (estimate)
GiranMobs level 40–55Lsf Seed, C-grade materials50–100k adena
AdenMobs level 60–70Rsk Seed, B-grade materials100–200k adena
RuneMobs level 70–80High Seed, A-grade materials200–400k adena
GoddardMobs level 75–80Top Seed, S-grade parts300–600k adena

Manor for Regular Players: Is It Worth Your Time

If you are already farming mobs, adding Seeds to your routine is virtually free and raises your income by 20–30%. You simply use a Seed at the start of combat — two extra seconds — and pick up the Crop at the end.

When Manor Is Not Worth It

  • When your castle did not plant enough Seeds for the current cycle (common on low-activity servers).
  • When Seeds cost more than the Crop returns — always check the math before buying.
  • When you AoE farm in a party: Seeds only work on a specific mob, not on a group.

For Castle-Owning Clans: How to Manage Manor

If your clan owns a castle, the Manor System is a direct income source for the clan treasury. Proper management brings 50–200M adena per week on an active server.

  • Offer a variety of Seeds: players readily buy Seeds for popular farming spots.
  • Watch pricing: Seeds must not be overpriced or nobody will buy them.
  • Part of the Crop income flows into the castle treasury — factor this into clan budget planning.
  • In Gracia and High Five the seed system is expanded with Seeds content zones, multiplying potential income significantly.

The Manor cycle resets every 12 hours. Always turn in Crops before the cycle ends — expired crops disappear.
