The Olympiad is a 1v1 PvP system where the best players of each class earn Hero status with unique privileges. It's one of the most prestigious aspects of L2 Interlude.
Olympiad Mechanics
Olympiad runs every 2 weeks. During this period you participate in 1v1 (class-based) or 3v3 (team) matches. Wins award Olympiad Points. The top-1 in points per class earns Hero status for the next period.
Hero Privileges
- ▸Hero Chat — visible to the entire server (gold messages).
- ▸Hero Weapon — unique weapon with Prominence (AoE fire every 15 seconds).
- ▸Hero Cloak — visible to other players as a prestige symbol.
- ▸Golden name displayed to all players.
Point Strategy
- 1Play class-based matches as often as possible (5 points per win).
- 2Choose a class with low competition: if only 2–3 players play your class, becoming Hero is far easier.
- 3Start matches early in the period when there are fewer opponents.
- 4Only take non-class matches if you have a clear class advantage.
Check the Olympiad participant list before registering. If your class has 0–1 players with points — you're practically guaranteed Hero.
