Advanced Spoil Guide for Lineage 2 Interlude

How to maximize Spoil income in L2 Interlude. Best mobs, rare resources, profit calculation and tips for Scavenger players.

February 19, 2026

Most players know that Scavenger can spoil mobs. Few know how to squeeze the maximum out of it. A proper Spoil route on a C-grade server earns two to five times more adena than chaotic farming. Here is how to do it right.

How Spoil Works: Quick Recap

Spoil adds a second drop list to a mob. To access it, use the Spoil skill before the mob dies, then use Sweep on the corpse. Without Sweep the resources disappear.

Spoil and regular drop are independent: you receive both the normal drop and the spoil simultaneously. This effectively doubles the value of every kill compared to a non-Scavenger class.

The Most Valuable Mobs to Spoil in Interlude

Medusa (Antharas Lair)75–78Mold Hardener, Mold Glue8–15k each

Scavenger Routes by Level

Levels 40–55: Blazing Swamp and Breka

Fire Salamanders on Blazing Swamp spoil Crafted Leather — one of the most in-demand C-grade materials, constantly bought by crafters. Breka Orc Overlords drop Animal Bone needed for countless recipes. Route: Blazing Swamp (primary) → Breka (if Blazing is crowded).

Levels 55–65: Tower of Insolence

Floors 2–5 of ToI are a gold mine for Scavenger. Grandis spoil Stem and Varnish of Purity. Fallen Knights spoil Soul Ore and Steel. Both resources are in constant short supply on any server. One hour in ToI as Scavenger earns 400–700k adena from spoil alone.

Levels 65–75: Antharas Lair and Surrounding Areas

Medusa in Antharas Lair spoils Mold Hardener — a rare ingredient for B/A-grade crafting. One Mold Hardener sells for 8–15k adena and you can gather 30–60 per hour. That is 300–900k adena from spoil alone, plus regular drops on top.

How to Calculate Spoil Profit

Simple formula: (mobs per hour) × (spoil chance) × (average resource price) = adena per hour from spoil. Example: 300 mobs/hr × 30% chance × 5k per resource = 450k adena/hr. Compare this to the regular drop and you will see whether changing locations is worth it.

Tips for Maximum Scavenger Efficiency

  • Always carry at least 2000 Sweep Shots (if your server uses them) — an empty Sweep inventory slows the whole process.
  • Spoil benefits from CHA: the Bounty Hunter third-class profession has a higher spoil rate.
  • Use Sweep Flash instead of regular Sweep — it collects spoil from all nearby mobs at once.
  • Watch market prices: Crafted Leather gets more expensive before major events when players craft heavily.
  • Do not invest expensive weapons in a Scavenger — it only needs to kill mobs in reasonable time, not instantly.

Best Party Companions for Scavenger

Scavenger works well in any party, but is especially valuable alongside:

  • AoE DD (Spellhowler, Overlord) — kills mobs fast enough for Scavenger to keep up with Spoil.
  • Prophet / Bishop — provide buffs that increase both survivability and farming speed.
  • Overlord with Seal of Mirage — slows mobs, giving extra time to apply Spoil before the mob dies.
