The 40–55 level range is crucial in Lineage 2 Interlude — this is where you start building real wealth to fund your D-grade and C-grade gear. This guide covers the best spots and tactics to maximize your adena per hour.
Levels 40–45: Around Oren
Breka's Stronghold
Breka Orc Warriors and Shamans at levels 42–45 are a classic solo farming spot. Shamans drop the most adena and occasionally D-grade shots. Fast respawn, moderate competition.
| Mob | Level | Adena (approx) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Breka Orc Warrior | 42 | 180–240 ₳ | Physical, aggressive |
| Breka Orc Shaman | 43 | 210–280 ₳ | Caster, best drop |
| Breka Orc Overlord | 44 | 230–300 ₳ | Champion, rare spawn |
Alligator Island
Great for AoE classes like Destroyer, Spellhowler, or Bladedancer party. Mobs cluster at levels 42–46. One full loop of the island with an AoE party nets 80–120k adena per hour.
Use D-grade Soul Shots: at this range they're cheapest and pay for themselves even with budget weapons.
Levels 45–50: Blazing Swamp and Giants Cave
Blazing Swamp
One of Interlude's most popular zones in this range. Fire Salamanders (47–49) give steady adena; Fire Drakes (49–51) drop C-grade components. Competition for Fire Drake spots is high — scout for a quiet corner.
| Mob | Level | Adena/hr (solo) | Notable Drop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fire Salamander | 47–49 | 150–200k | Basic adena |
| Fire Drake | 49–51 | 200–280k | C-grade components, rare recipes |
| Magma Drake | 51–53 | 250–320k | C-grade recipes, crystals |
Giants Cave
Guardian Basilisks and Cave Fungi drop fewer adena per kill but yield Tallum-line crafting components (B-grade materials) that sell well in player shops. Works best for single-target classes.
Levels 50–55: Transitioning to C-grade Zones
Oran Tempest
Tornado Ghosts (52–54) are iconic for this level. They die fast, drop 280–350 adena each. On a solid C-grade char with shots you'll earn 300–450k/hr. Downside: extremely popular during prime time.
Tower of Insolence (floors 1–3)
From level 53+ you can start the lower floors of ToI. Fallen Knights and Hallowed Priests give good adena and drop Soul Ore and Steel — valuable crafting mats. A level 55 Fallen Knight drops 400–520 adena.
ToI works best in a 2–3 person party: one tank/DD, one support with Recharger. Speed increases, and the party earns 700k–1.2M adena per person per hour.
General Tips
- ▸Always check private shop prices on drops — a single B-grade recipe can be worth more than 3 hours of straight farming.
- ▸Spoil matters: a Dwarf Scavenger in party doubles the value of every kill on many mobs in this range.
- ▸Archers (HE, SR, PR) are the most efficient solo classes — strong damage with no shot cost.
- ▸Avoid crowded zones during prime time — 3 quiet hours at 3am beats 6 crowded hours at 8pm.
