The right gear progression is key to efficient play in Lineage 2 Interlude. Staying in D-grade too long wastes time. Jumping to A-grade too early leaves you broke. Here's the optimal strategy.
D-Grade: Getting Started (Levels 1–40)
| Character Type | Recommended D-Grade Weapon | Price (approx) |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior (sword) | Orcish Sword / Eminence Blade | 5–15k adena |
| Mage (staff) | Crystal Staff / Staff of Evil Spirit | 8–20k adena |
| Archer (bow) | Akat Longbow / Eminence Bow | 10–25k adena |
| 2-Hander / Pala | Deadman's Glory / Elven Long Sword | 5–12k adena |
Invest in your weapon first, not armor. Damage matters more than defense in PvE at low levels.
C-Grade: Transition at Level 40
Level 40 opens C-grade. It's a big cost jump — a good C-grade set runs 300k–1.5M adena. Priority: weapon first, then armor.
B-Grade: Transition at Levels 52–55
B-grade is a serious barrier. A good B-grade weapon costs 3–10M adena; a full armor set costs even more. Two paths: buy from player shops or craft through a Dwarf.
Crafting B-grade via a Dwarf with Craft Level 4–5 is 20–40% cheaper than buying. You need recipes (buy or drop) and materials (buy or spoil).
Don't dump everything into B-grade armor at once. Priority: weapon > chest > legs > rest. B-grade weapon with C-grade armor often beats the reverse.
