Solo play in Lineage 2 Interlude is its own philosophy. No party dependency means freedom, but you lose party EXP bonuses and support advantages. Here's the ranking of classes that excel alone.

Top 5 Solo Classes

1. Hawkeye (Human Archer)

Hawkeye is one of the most efficient solo characters in the game. A bow lets you kite mobs, avoiding melee range entirely. With a solid C-grade bow, Hawkeye farms Blazing Swamp and ToI floor 1 without issues. Downside: full arrow dependency (expensive).

2. Phantom Ranger (Dark Elf Archer)

The highest raw damage archer in early Interlude. Quickstep + Slow debuff makes the Phantom Ranger practically untouchable by most mobs. Farms single targets faster than Hawkeye but costs more to maintain.

3. Dark Avenger (Human Tank)

One of the best solo classes for long farming sessions. Dark Avenger is a full tank with Vampiric Rage (heals from damage), making them nearly immortal on most mobs. Downside: kills slowly without good gear.

4. Spellhowler (Dark Elf Mage)

High damage, AoE, can solo-farm mob groups. Downside: burns MP fast, requires regular resting or potions. Past level 55 with a decent C-grade staff, expect 400–600k/hr at Oran Tempest.

5. Shillien Elder (Dark Elf Support)

An unconventional choice: SE can sit on mobs indefinitely thanks to Recharge and self-heal. Rarely dies. Downside: extremely slow kills. Suited for AFK-style farming while doing other things.
