Lineage 2 is a party game first. Even the best solo class loses to a properly assembled group of 5–7 players. Let's cover the optimal composition for PvE farming and PvP.

Base PvE Farming Party (5–7 players)

RoleClassRequired?What it Provides

Melee DDDuelist / Warlord / DA1–2 peopleMain damage, AoE
Ranged DDHawkeye / Spellhowler / Sorcerer1–2 peopleExtra damage, CC

Why Bishop Is Mandatory

  • Celestial Shield — makes the target invulnerable for a few seconds. Literally saves lives in PvP.
  • Cancel — strips all buffs from an enemy. One of the most powerful debuffs in the game.
  • COV (Call of Void) — lets Bishop conserve MP while casting more powerful heals.
  • Resurrection — revives in battle without EXP penalty.

Buff-order matters: Singer/Dancer buffs first, then Prophet, then specialized buffs. Wrong order can overwrite a strong buff with a weak one.
