Seven Signs is one of Interlude's most underrated systems. It is a server-wide PvE-PvP contest between two cabals whose outcome decides access to the best farm zones, shop discounts, and entry to the Anakim and Lilith raids. Let us cover how it works and why to take part.
Two sides: Dawn and Dusk
Players pick one of two cabals: Dawn or Dusk. Each week there is a competition period, then a seal-validation period when the winning side reaps bonuses, then the cycle repeats. Dawn is usually tied to castle lords and leans on Ancient Adena; Dusk is the side of the 'revolutionaries'.

How to take part
- 1Register with a Priest of Dawn or the Dawn/Dusk NPC, choosing a side and a seal.
- 2Farm seal stones (blue/green/red) from mobs in the Catacombs and Necropolises.
- 3Turn stones in to the NPC — you get Ancient Adena and contribute to your side's win.
- 4Join a Festival of Darkness party for extra contribution and rewards.
Seal stones and Ancient Adena are a separate Seven Signs currency. Ancient Adena buys unique items from the Merchant/Blacksmith of Mammon, who only appear during the seal-validation period.
Festival of Darkness
This is a team event: a party enters a special zone, kills mobs and banks a time-based bonus. The higher your party scores, the more your side contributes and the more valuable your personal rewards. A balanced composition matters here — see ideal party composition.
