Lineage 2 Interlude has seven epic raid bosses, each dropping a legendary jewelry piece. Collecting a full set of epic jewelry is one of the main endgame goals. Here's everything you need to know about each one.

The lesser epics: Queen Ant, Core, Orfen

These three are the most accessible epic bosses. Small groups can handle them, and they're usually the first targets on a fresh server.

BossLocationLevelRespawn (retail)Drop
Queen AntAnt Nest (near Hunters Village)40~36 hoursQueen Ant's Ring
CoreCruma Tower (floor 3)60~60 hoursCore Ring
OrfenSea of Spores60~48 hoursOrfen's Earring

Queen Ant is killable by a small party at level 40+. Core and Orfen need proper level 60-70 characters. Private servers typically reduce these timers to 12-24 hours.

Zaken: the captain boss

Zaken lives on Devil's Isle. He has two versions - day (weaker) and night (stronger), both at level 60. Entry requires a short quest from the Devil's Isle NPC.

Drop: Zaken's Earring - the best offensive earring in the game for DD classes. Adds STR and DEX. On x1 servers, this item sells for enormous sums.

Baium: guardian of the Tower of Insolence

Baium spawns at the top of the Tower of Insolence. Entry requires completing the quest 'An Arrogant Search' from an NPC in Aden - it involves visiting all floors of ToI and collecting Blood of Saint.

Drop: Baium's Ring - adds accuracy and CON. One of the best rings for physical DD classes. Retail respawn is approximately 5 days.

Baium has an AoE Sleep that puts nearby players to sleep. Spread your raid members out so one cast doesn't hit everyone. Bring a Bishop specifically to remove Sleep from the tank.

Antharas: the first dragon

Antharas lives in Dragon Valley Nest. Entry requires an Antharas Entrance Pass obtained by progressing through Dragon Valley. Retail required 200+ players. On private servers at x3-x10 rates, 27-45 well-geared players is enough; at x50+ sometimes 9 will do.

Drop: Antharas's Earring - adds casting speed and magic resistance. One of the most valuable items in Interlude for mage classes.

Valakas: the final boss

Valakas is the hardest boss in the chronicle. Lives in Fire Dragon Nest, requires a quest chain for entry. Retail needed 250+ players. Private server requirements scale down with rates.

Drop: Valakas's Necklace - the best necklace in Interlude. Adds P.Atk, M.Atk, speed, and CON. Sells for billions of adena on x1 servers.

Valakas uses Meteor Strike - an AoE attack that kills several players at once. Bring mage resistance buffs, solid healers, and fast resurrectors. Plan for casualties and keep the main party alive.
