Hellbound Farming Zones in Lineage 2: Guide to Locations and Income

Where to farm in L2 Hellbound: Hellbound Coast, Native Forest, Quarry, Hellbound Town. Trust Level explained, adena per hour, best classes for each zone.

Hellbound is an island with a progressive zone-unlock system. You don't just log in and start farming wherever: first the server needs enough Trust Points to open deeper territories. Here's how each zone works and what it pays.

How Trust Level works

Trust Level is a server-wide number. All players together accumulate Trust Points by killing mobs, completing Hellbound quests, and killing island raid bosses. Higher Trust Level unlocks more zones. One player can't grind it up alone - it requires the whole server working toward it.

Hellbound Coast: Trust Level 1+

The first accessible zone. Level 60-65 demonic mobs with moderate HP and standard drops. A reasonable entry point for fresh 60+ characters with A-grade gear.

Solo income: 500-700k adena per hour at x1. Three-person party: 1.5-2M/hr. Nothing extraordinary, but the zone is always available and competition is almost zero in the early hours of a server launch.

Native Forest: Trust Level 3+

Level 65-70 mobs in dense forest. This is where real Hellbound farming starts. Drops include Hellbound Stones - the island's main currency which exchanges at the NPC for unique items.

Solo income: 700k-1.1M/hr at x1. AoE party (mage + dancer + bard): 2.5-3.5M/hr. Serious income even at x1 rates.

Hellbound Stones accumulate with the NPC Kanaf on the island. Exchange them for Ancient Adena or unique chronicle items. On some servers those items command high prices in player shops, making this the most profitable part of Hellbound farming.

Quarry: Trust Level 5+

The richest open zone on most HB servers. Mobs at 70-75, higher HP, but noticeably better drops. S-grade materials and improved crafting components start appearing here.

Solo income: 1-1.5M/hr. AoE party: 3.5-5M/hr. Best classes: Storm Screamer, AoE Warlock, or a strong archer with a partner.

Quarry is an open PvP zone on most servers. Competition for the best spots is real and regular. Without a party or willingness to fight for your spot, it's worth waiting for off-peak hours after Trust Level opens this area.

Hellbound Town and inner zones: Trust Level 7+

Level 73-78 mobs. Access to these zones means you're on a well-developed server. Drops include the best chronicle components and lead toward S-grade equipment. Only for well-geared characters in a proper party.

Solo income: 1.3-2M/hr if you can survive. Party: 4-7M/hr depending on composition.

Hellbound Stones: why they matter

  • Hellbound Stones drop from all island mobs, more from deeper zones.
  • Exchanged at NPC Kanaf for Ancient Adena (converts to regular adena) or unique items.
  • Early in a server's life when item prices are highest, Stones give excellent returns.
  • They don't drop in zones below what Trust Level has unlocked - a reason to push deeper.
